Thank you to the talented and dynamic Alsie Clay for her Energetic Sand Mandala program on February 4th!
Participants created an energetic sand mandala with a Valentine's Day-themed event of love, joy, and peace. We began by creating individual mandalas by sprinkling brightly colored artist's sand onto a white surface, resulting in beautiful images.
The group created a large sand mandala together for the shared experience. The sand was swept up and collected, as a reminder of impermanence, similar to Buddhist monk’s practice.
We were blessed with the experience and moved by the community connections created. Thank you to Alsie and all who created a wonderful experience!
